MANCHESTER, N.H. —More than 700 new positive tests and eight deaths attributed to the novel coronavirus disease were announced Friday by New Hampshire health officials.

The eight new victims include five men and three women older than 60 years old. They were residents of Belknap, Hillsborough, Merrimack and Strafford counties and all were connected to long-term care facilities, officials said.
